Updating Sophos.
At any time you can update sophos from the server. The default setting is to update once an hour.

Updating the current version of Sophos Update Services on your computer is a simple process.

To update to the newest version of Sophos Update Services, follow the instructions below.
- Right-click on the Sophos Shield Update
Icon
in the System Tray and select Update Now.
That's it. The current Sophos Update Services program
will download and update the Sophos program.
NOTE: Sophos will keep itself up to date with user intervention
New Features in Sophos Update Services
- Ability to schedule Remote Updates from the server
automatically. The default setting is every 60 minutes.
- Settings for disinfection are set after install. The User doesn't need to change the settings
- Repackaged the install utility.
- Sophos updates in the background. there is no pop up when Sophos updates.
