Logging on to the server

In a moment you will be asked to log in to the server. After you select your package to download you will be asked for your username and password. You will be presented with either a two or three tiered login box. If you are presented with a two tiered login box enter your e-mail address for a username. i.e jsmith@kings.edu. If you are presented with a three tiered login box put just your username, the part before the @kings.edu on the username line. On the Domain line input "kings." In both cases your password is the same password you use to login to the network. If you need further help or are having problems logging in, contact the HELP line @ 4357.

Programs

Remote Update

Note:
Windows users should download and install the Remote Update Utility ONLY. This will install the appropriate Sophos Anti-Virus product needed on your computer. Once the Remote update Utility is installed, right-click on the Remote Update icon in the system tray and select "Update Now." This will install the correct version of Sophos for your version of Windows. The Remote Update Utility will help keep your Sophos virus definitions up-to-date. Windows users can refer to the "Quick Install Guide" for more details. Macintosh users should download the Macintosh Single User Install Guide in the documentation section below.

The default install settings do not setup Sophos to disinfect. You will need to configure the settings after the install completes!
